The Runic Iris design was inspired by the stone age tomb, Maeshowe, buit around 3,000BC. In the 12th Century Vikings broke into the tomb and carved runes on the chamber walls.
The brooch reads 'Reflecting times past and present' the bangle 'Real love transcends time' - the pendant (Orkney Isles' - the ring 'Dreams of everlasting love.'
